Machine Operator

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are a family-owned carpet manufacturer based in Blackburn, and we are looking for a Machine Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for working on a fast-moving production line and performing various operational duties.

Responsibilities:

• Operating and monitoring machines to ensure they are running smoothly
• Conducting quality checks to ensure products meet our high standards
• Troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise during the production process
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• General warehouse duties

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred, but not essential as full training will be given
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
• Ability to work on a fast-moving production line
• The ability to drive a FLT is an advantage, but not essential.

Information:

• Beginning at £18,600 per year paid weekly
• Day shift - Monday to Thursday
