Role Overview & Responsibilities

The CBT Training department of CNWL has a long history of providing high quality training to NHS professionals. We are currently seeking a CT course supervisor and Tutor to work one day per week (Fridays) on our High Intensity CBT Post Graduate diploma course. You will be joining a highly experienced team of CBT trainers, supervisors and practitioners devoted to preparing the next generation of CBT therapists for work in primary care as part of the Improving access to Psychological Therapies programme.

The successful applicant may have contact with patients or service users. As an NHS Trust we strongly encourage and support vaccination as this remains the best way to protect yourself, your family, your colleagues and of course patients and service users when working on our healthcare settings.

To provide evidence based clinical supervision in a group and individual format to trainees on the post graduate diploma. Additionally you will be involved in delivering training sessions in clinical skills as well as providing assessments and grading of academic papers

We are a highly experienced group of CBT trainers working on a well regarded and large CBT training programme. We provide training in clinical supervision as well as courses in behavioural Couple Therapy.
  • Clinical supervision of CBT trainees in small groups
  • Liasion with service supervisor and managers
  • Participation in trainee reviews
  • participation in monthly supervision of supervision sessions
  • assessment and grading of academic assignments
  • attendance at board of examiners meetings
  • participation in review and evaluation processes for the various courses
  • conducting assessments of knowledge skills and attitudes portfolios
  • development, delivery and evaluation of clinical skills teaching sessions.
