Packing and Despatch Team Leader

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are looking for full time Team Leader to join our packing and dispatch team.

You will be working closely with the Packing and Despatch Manager to ensure the processes and deadlines set for the area are met. This will include working hands on as part of the team as a packing team member and dispatcher. You will lead by example and ensure that the team are managed to work as effectively as possible.

Based in our new Chocolate HQ in Holton Heath, you will be working with a passionate, energetic team in a fast-paced environment, hand-packing our award-winning chocolates for our Chocolate Houses and online mail order business.

You will need

• Strong communication skills
• Great attention to detail
• Ability to prioritise tasks and be able to adapt to the changing needs throughout the day.
• Experience working in a warehouse environment either in a packing or despatching capacity.
• Able to work under pressure and ability to manage the team through busy periods calmly.
• Strong computer skills including experience with Outlook, Excel and Word.
• A hands-on and lead by example approach.

Our core hours are Monday–Friday between the hours of 8am and 5pm for a total of 45 hours (including a paid half hour lunch break and a 15 minute coffee break).

During our busy dispatch periods (mid-Nov to Christmas and the three weeks leading up to Easter) we will need you to be flexible to ensure that we are able to manage these periods. This will include working weekends and changing your starting times to start earlier or later.

Full training will be provided, and there are lots of opportunities to enjoy samples of our handcrafted chocolates.
