Role Overview & Responsibilities

Christies Scottish Tapas is opening soon at the Fife Leisure Park.

We are recruiting for passionate and enthusiastic kitchen assistant staff to join our team.

Christies is all about a unique dining experience.

“Food should be fun, and if it’s not, you’re doing it wrong!”

We have taken the much loved tapas concept and made it our own by offering traditional and staple Scottish foods.

Not all our dishes are Scottish in origin, but they definitely have a strong Scottish influence.

We offer a fantastic selection of cocktails and wines, all curated to pair with the style of food.

You will have the opportunity to grow and work for a small restaurant group with big plans for the future and who encourage employee development and promotion from within the company.

Duties include:

General cleaning of the kitchen, dishes, pots, pans and utensils

Assisting the Chefs

Basic food preparation

Unloading and putting away deliveries

Ensuring all equipment is clean and put away correctly

Deep cleaning as per the company Food Safety Management System

The ideal candidate must:

Have experience in a fast-paced environment

Be punctual and have good time-management skills

Be confident in working alone as well as part of a team

Part-time hours: 20-35 per week

Salary: £10.42 per hour
