Breakfast Waiter

Role Overview & Responsibilities

The Sir Thomas Hotel in the heart of Liverpool City Centre are recruiting for a friendly experienced Breakfast Waiter to join our team, working between 7.00 am and 11.00 am five days out of seven Monday to Sunday inclusive.

Job Role:

• Provide a high standard of service both in terms of welcome and waiter service.
• Provide a positive and friendly customer experience by interacting with patrons.
• Serve customers - prepare the breakfast dining areas, provide waiter service, and clear away.
• Perform the tasks of order taking and maximise sales opportunities through knowledge of product and suggestive selling. Ensure accuracy by repeating order(s) to the guests.
• Take orders and deliver promptly to the kitchen area.
• Check ordered meals on collection from kitchen and deliver to guests promptly to maintain temperature and appearance ensure items are announced.
• Keep tables and service areas clean and tidy.
• Maintain hygienic food service techniques during service.
• Take responsibility for your designated section and station.
• Collecting payments for drinks served and providing change as needed.
• Any other reasonable request as required by your Supervisor or Hotel Management.

Work Experience

Experience of food and beverage service would be advantageous

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 20 per week

Salary: £6.83 - £10.50 per hour

• Weekend availability

• Catering: 1 year (preferred)
• Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
• Bartending: 1 year (preferred)
