Production Manager

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Production Manager required for our client based in HX1. This is a permanent role with opportunities for progression.

Main Responsibilities and Duties:

• Plan, implement and control production through the production schedule
• Determine human resources required to meet the production schedule
• Determine and implement improvements to the production process.
• Monitor and review performance of staff
• Analyse and adjust production costs/time for jobs
• Ensure collaboration and co-ordination between departments, including procurement/distribution and management.
• Plan, implement and ensure standard operating procedures and adhered to.
• To undertake additional duties as may be assigned from time to time.
• Using Excel to input hours for your team
• The use of SAGE
• Managing stock

The ideal candidate:

• Must have great Excel spreadsheet skills.
• The use of SAGE would be advantageous
• Be able to hit deadlines and help your team do so.
• Have good knowledge of Health and safety in order to brief the team.
• Be confident in prioritising tasks.
• Have knowledge of displays and electrics.
• Management experience.
• Own transport desired.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year

• Halifax, HX1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
