Working hours: Monday - Friday 9 am - 5:30 pm

Sunday 23rd April - Tuesday 25th April - Stay in London

Job Specification

An events company in Guildford Surrey requires a temporary Event Assistant to assist the team during the busiest time of year. We have a very small team so need someone who can pick up the role quickly and pitch in where required.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting the events team when required
• Managing suppliers
• Taking over responsibility for delegate pass bookings.
• Chasing exhibitors for final details
• Answer any questions from exhibitors regarding delegate passes/details for the day.
• Credit Control
• Be based on the registration desk on the event day, taking new registrations
• Help the team with event logistics, including lifting and loading items onto transport the day before and after the event

Must have the following skills and experiences:

• Excellent customer service skills and similar administration experience
• Stand out written and spoken communication skills
• Experience within the event sector

Job Type: Temporary contract

Salary: £14.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Guildford: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
