Role Overview & Responsibilities

Position Title: Graduate IT Junior

Duration: Permanent

Location: Tamworth, UK

• We have a requirement for an IT Junior to join our support team based in Tamworth.
• Reporting to the IT Manager, you will be responsible for providing telephone support and remote access support on a range of Workstation, Application and Hardware issues, together with Server and Network troubleshooting and maintenance.
• You will also be responsible for carrying out a range of daily administration tasks.
• You should have basic technical skills with knowledge of Microsoft Networking, Active Directory, PC Hardware, Microsoft Office applications, and Azure.
• Excellent communication skills and telephone manner are also key aspects of the role.
• The successful candidate will help support the business IT and Network infrastructure across the Clients’ two sites (Tamworth, UK / Michigan, US).
• Enthusiasm and a passion for technology is an absolute must.

You will need good knowledge of the following:

• Microsoft Windows 10 Professional (Installation and configuration)
• Microsoft Server 2019
• Microsoft Office 365
• Anti-Virus software
• Backup solutions and storage systems
• LAN technologies including, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, IP Addressing, network switches, wired and wireless access, etc.

• Full Disk Encryption
• VPN, WAN, IP routing
