Cornwall Vacuum Service (CVS) are a major supplier of Commercial Cleaning Equipment across the South West with a reputation for providing first class customer service. Established for over 30 years we have an extensive database of customers in a wide variety of sectors. We sell equipment from a selected range of suppliers from the UK, Europe and further afield.
You will be joining a small team at our purpose-built premises at Rockhill business park in Higher Bugle near St Austell that always aim to go above and beyond to make our customers feel valued and bring a positive attitude to the office. Attention to detail, retaining information and high organisational skills are all required to fulfil this role.
This is a permanent position after a satisfactory probation period of 6-month.
Hours: Tuesday to Friday 9:00 – 14:00
Rate: £11 - £12 per hour depending on experience
Holiday: 23 days holiday including Bank Holidays
The Role
- Dealing with customers for all servicing and repair requirements in an efficient and courteous manner
- Working collaboratively with the Workshop, our Engineers and Sales teams
- Ensuring that all necessary information is recorded accurately.
- To provide administration support services to the internal and external sales teams.
- Order processing and entry on the internal system (full training provided)
- Focus on effective customer account management, aiming to increase the company’s customer base and develop long term collaborative relationships.
- Maintain a presence on the Service Desk to ensure that all customer queries are dealt with promptly, whether in person or by telephone.
- Working in a small business means you could be asked to take on different role as the business need changes, so flexibility is key.
The Person
- Experience within a similar support administration role.
- Excellent communication skills at all levels
- Great team player who is also comfortable to work on their own initiative.
- A natural problem solver who is used to working within a fast paced and changing environment.
- Excellent IT literacy and good working knowledge of Microsoft packages
- Someone who wants to build a long-term career within a fantastic brand.
- Have a flexible approach with the ability to work alone or as part of a team with “a can do” attitude and sense of Humour.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20 per week
Salary: £11.00-£12.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
