Gym - Front of House

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Crossfit Swindon is a thriving strength and fitness amenity at the heart of Swindon's fitness industry. We are looking for a Front of House to join our team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a vibrant and expanding community-based gym with plenty of potential to develop within the role.

Duties

As Front of House you will:

• Open and close the gym as necessary
• Provide a warm & friendly welcome to everyone entering the gym
• Sign up new members
• Drive membership sales, making informed recommendations
• Resolve any queries within your scope politely & efficiently
• Keep up with daily Admin tasks, including using the back end of ‘Wodify’, our booking system
• Post regularly on social media & provide input for promotional campaigns
• Help the team sustain high standards with general daily cleaning & maintenance tasks
• Get involved with the organisation of various events throughout the year
• Be proactive & innovative in helping the business continuously grow & improve

The person

To succeed as Front of House you will be:

• A great communicator (verbal and written) with experience in a customer service setting
• Self motivated - able to work using your own initiative as well as communicating with the team
• Good with basic computer skills, ideally including knowledge of using Google Drive to collaborate
• Reliable, trustworthy & organised
• Passionate about health and fitness
• Knowledgeable about what CrossFit is & the benefits
• First Aid at Work Qualification would be a bonus

Hours

Part-time: 1-2 nights a week (TBC) 16:00-21:00 with potential to increase in line with business needs.
