Warehouse Assistant

Role Overview & Responsibilities

• Loading material into machines
• Cuts, grinds, or drills materials in machine as needed by adjusting speed, the path of the cut, and other factory
• Blackening (metal works)
• Lazer Marking
• Pays constant attention to surroundings to reduce accidents and injuries
• Works cordially with team members
• Mounting and dismounting workpieces on/from lathe
• Performing roughing and finishing operations
• Checking finished pieces to ensure compliance with technical drawings
• Carrying out maintenance of turning lathe and tools
• Cleaning turning lathe and work area, e.g. removing swarf / chips
• Welding
• General Warehouse duties

Salary: From £20,000.00 per year
