Job Description

Diagnostic Healthcare Limited is one of the leading imaging companies in the UK. The company provides a variety of diagnostic services including Ultrasound, Bone density scans, MRI, OPG and Dental CT. We are seeking to recruit a part time Diagnostic Imaging Assistant for Ultrasound to work in Chelmsford on a 32 hour per week contract. The position requires a good level of computer skills and candidates must be able to work alone in a well organised manner. Full training will be given. Must have a full driving licence and access to their own car.

Job summary:

· To support and assist the Sonographers in the clinical environment.

· The role is varied dependent on the site and the needs of the patients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Meet and greet patient in a pleasant, confident and professional manner.

· Confirm patient’s name with the day list and mark as attended on paperwork checking that all referral letters are attached to the patient record.

· Assist patients in any way required with dressing/undressing or getting on and off the couch.

· Act as chaperone when required.

· Ensure the scan room and waiting areas are kept clean and tidy at all times, clean the probes and machine.

· Email the administration team the end of day report with any issue during the day.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 32 per week

Salary: £10.50 per hour
