Job title: Personal Assistant (PA)

Reporting to: Direct Payment Employer

Location: Heaton, Newcastle

Hours of work: to be worked flexibly in line with the family. Average 3.5 per week/15 per month.

Rate of pay: £11.00 per hour

Are you fun, energetic, and willing to provide quality one to one support for a child who loves getting out and about?

Job purpose:

To support a 9 year old boy to have fun and attend various activities. Ensuring his safety and to meet his support needs ensuring he gets the most out of the activities he takes part in.

About the employer:

You will be supporting a 9 year old boy who is energetic and loves being outdoors. His favourite activities include going to the beach, swimming, trampoline parks, soft plays, Inflataspace and the Tim Lamb Centre.

He has a diagnosis of Autism and will require support to join in safely with activities. He can find busy and noisy places difficult, and it is important to be aware of any changes to behaviour.

Hours will be worked flexibly to meet the family’s needs on a monthly basis.

At the time of starting their employment, the successful candidate must have permission to work in the U.K.
