International Transport Planner

Role Overview & Responsibilities

International Transport Planner required to join our team in Coventry.

We are looking for an accomplished International Transport Planner, with experience planning FTL and LTL in an express freight environment. The ideal candidate will have a background in HGV (40ft articulated transport) planning, however, we will consider other road transport backgrounds.

Previous roles with some supervisory/team management aspects would be seen favorably.

A Transport Manager CPC is not a requirement for this role, however, the candidate would be expected to hold a working understanding of Tacograph regulations as they relate to driver hours and route planning.

Proficiency on PC, especially Outlook and Excel, is a must, though training will be provided on the Company planning platforms.

Experience in international import and export operations (own fleet) required.

Basic knowledge of Customs procedures, especially between UK and ROI, would be an advantage.
