Do you know what role keeps a professional kitchen running smoothly? It's probably not what you think it is, our Head Chef Stephen and his brigade are looking for a passionate kitchen porter. Kitchen porters play a vital role in our hotel and make sure our kitchen and all the equipment is kept clean and tidy throughout service.

The person we are looking for will enjoy maintaining a clean working environment, being active and working with the Chefs to complete daily and weekly tasks.

You may even be considering a career as a Chef in the future and if you do, we will help you to reach your goal. No experience is necessary although it would of course be welcomed, but a positive attitude and good work ethic is most important. What’s in it for you:

A share of service charge – 100% of which is split between the team

What the job is:

• Loading cutlery / dishes into the dishwasher
• Cleaning and sterilising countertops, kitchen walls, stoves, ovens, grills and sinks
• Cleaning the kitchen once it is closed to ensure it is ready for the next day
• Maintaining the food storage areas like freezers and refrigerators
• Receiving deliveries and organising them in the kitchen
• Removing kitchen waste from waste containers and disposing of them properly
• Cleaning and maintaining cooking equipment like cookers, pots and food mixers
