water resources engineer
Role Overview & Responsibilities
Due to a successful launch in the North of Scotland, we are looking to expand our team to fully support and optimise the Highlands Emergency Drainage & Plumbing requirements. Drain Doctor have an exciting opportunity for a Drainage & Plumbing Engineer based in Inverness or surrounding areas, Dingwall, Nairn Etc.
Job Type:
- Full-time.
- Permanent.
- Monday to Friday (plus weekend rota).

The Role:
- Carrying out all types of drainage work; Rodding, jetting, camera investigations etc.
- Carrying out plumbing work; Toilet repairs syphons/float valves replacements, burst pipes, sink/shower leaks etc.
- Working on both commercial and domestic properties.
- Using mobile tech, (smartphone/tablet) to organise workload and update jobs.
- Adhering to a high level of customer service and company standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Drainage &/or Plumbing experience (required)
- Relevant drainage and/or plumbing qualifications preferred
- Valid full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
- Must be confident and have good communication skills.
- Ability to work alone.
A basic disclosure check will be required for all successful candidates.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £30,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Supplemental pay types:
- Bonus scheme
Experience:
- plumbing or drainage: 2 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence with 6 points or less (required)
