Pasteurising Operative - Lisburn - Permanent

Draynes Farm is a dairy farm located in Lisburn, Northern Ireland. As a milk producer, our primary activity is to produce and sell milk to customers. The farm produces a range of different milk products, including whole milk, semi-skimmed milk and ice cream.

For example, they use a robotic milking system that allows their cows to be milked on a schedule that suits their natural rhythm, reducing stress and improving their welfare.

• £11.00 ph moving to £12.77 ph after successful completion of probationary & training periods.
• 5 shifts per week
• 39 Hours Per Week (overtime available)

Duties:

• Set up, running and monitoring of pasteuriser plant.
• Completing quality checks to ensure the food safety, quality and legality of product
• Ensuring all sampling and testing procedures are strictly adhered to
• Ensuring effective communication with other key operators and departments
• Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained

Criteria:

• Previous experience in a food production machine environment / operating machinery
• Good standard of numeracy & literacy skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £11.00-£12.80 per hour
