Role Overview & Responsibilities
Are you a qualified bus driver? Tired of collecting money and driving from one busy City or Town to another?
If so Driver Hire Leeds East may have the job for you.
Driver Hire are recruiting 4 x bus drivers to work with the ministry of justice transporting prisoners between courts, jails or prison.
There will be two Prison Officers on the vehicle who would take care of the welfare of the prisoners. The drivers cab of the vehicle is not connected to the rear of the vehicle so the driver would be out of sight and hearing from the passengers, there is comm's between the front and rear for the Officers to use.
Start times will vary, albeit typical start times would be from 0630 β 1000. Typically a day will be between 8 to 10 hours a day. Monday to Friday with 40 hours pay per week guaranteed.
Initially this will be on a 3 month contract and maybe extended.
A basic day would be to report to your depot, check your vehicle and then commence your duty with the Prison Officers.

Requirements:
- CAT D Licence
- No past or current criminal record
- Up to date PCV CPC card
- Able to start work on 13th March
