Role Overview & Responsibilities

Glendinning’s is a major independently owned company looking to appoint a Quarry Operative, within a leading family run business. The company operates a limestone and gritstone quarry, a large transport and maintenance department, RMC and pre-cast concrete products together with a road surfacing/contracting division.

Located at our quarry just outside Kilkhampton Nr Bude, we are looking for a full time, permanent, Quarry Operative. Ideally the candidate will have experience of working within the quarrying industry and operating heavy plant such as excavators, articulated dumptrucks and front-end loading shovels.

Any necessary training will be provided.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From £27,458.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

• Bonus scheme
• Yearly bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Bude EX23 9LQ: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
