The job itself

Starting September 2023, we are seeking to appoint a highly effective and enthusiastic lead practitioner to join our team to lead on the strategic vision and pivotal work around emotional well-being and positive mental health across the school. The successful candidate must have experience in developing, supporting or leading similar work in an educational or related setting.

We have recently been judged ‘GOOD’ by OFSTED (April 2022) and the successful candidate will have opportunity to help us to continue our journey and contribute to the Vision and Values of The Hub School as a member of the team.

The Headteacher and Governing Body are committed to the safety and well-being of our learners and an Enhanced DBS Check and other employment checks will be conducted on the preferred candidate prior to appointment.

All candidates are advised to refer to the job description and person specification before making an application. We are committed to safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. East Riding of Yorkshire Council is pursuing equality of opportunity in employment.
