Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced, customer focused Operation Manager to join our busy team in London. We require someone who has a keen eye for detail, the ability to apply consistent and robust procedures & protocols to improve results; and have a collaborative approach.

Key tasks include

Warehouse Processing

  • Help implementing the system to manage all the warehouse.
  • Communicate and coordinate with warehouse to have orders packed up and verified in time for collection/delivery.
  • Arrange and manage collections with carriers.
  • Be responsible for managing all regulatory matters and maintain strict compliance standards with the latest customs legislation.
  • Work on production plan and follow the production; considering components, fillers, pieces available and orders to be shipped out.

Stock Management

  • Overview of customer orders to ensure it is managed efficiently.
  • Automate our stock management system and ensure reporting is accurate and efficient.
  • Responsible for managing the manufacturing process for new productions with all relevant suppliers.
  • Liaise with manufacturers in relation to new productions, moulds, samples etc.
  • Responsible for implementing quality controls for all productions.
  • Focus on making our current productions and processes more efficient with the view to reduce cost.

Logistics Team Support

  • Report directly into our Logistics Manager.
  • Support distributors and internal departments with additional requests.

Others

  • Any other ad hoc duties when required.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Experience in fragrance industry, in particular manufacturing process for fragrance and beauty products.
  • Development and delivery of a plan for QC
  • A working knowledge of compliance requirements, industry trends, health authority/regulatory developments.
  • Strong analytical skills in excel and document handling.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Eager to take responsibility of customer issues and queries.
  • Strong communications and organisational skills to allow you to effectively work as part of the logistics team.
  • Attention to detail and adaptable to change.
  • Ability to prioritise and work well under pressure.

  • Ruislip: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:

  • Diploma of Higher Education (preferred)
