We're looking for Early Bag Store (EBS) Operatives to join the team at Edinburgh Airport Services. This is a great opportunity to play an essential role in our baggage hall.

Our Early Bag Store (EBS) team support the work of the whole baggage hall getting passengers and their bags away on their journeys. This is a critical part of what makes our airport tick and you will have the opportunity to develop your career with us.

What you'll be doing
You will be working in the baggage hall preparing bags in the Early Bag Store until they are ready to be pushed into the main baggage system.

• Correctly loading and storing luggage
• Loading baggage from cages onto conveyor
• Scanning baggage before dispatching to carousels
• Recording and dealing with damaged or incorrectly received baggage
• Using specialist equipment such as conveyors, bar code recognition
• Informing baggage controllers about damaged or malfunctioning equipment

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: £10.90 per hour
