Despatch Packer

Elevation Recruitment’s Skilled Shop Floor team have been exclusively retained to manage a recruitment campaign for our prestigious client based Sheffield.

They currently have a vacancy available within the Despatch Department.

They are looking for individuals with experience or a desire to work in the following role:

Despatch Packer

Hours: 39 hours per week
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 7am-4pm / Friday 7am-12 Noon
Hourly Rate: £11.33 p/h
Overtime: Paid at time and ½ after 39 hours

Reporting to the Despatch Team Leader you will be responsible for:

• Packing components ready for despatch
• Preparing parts for shipping to customers
• Packing, marking and moving components/parts around the site
• Loading and unloading of parts from transport vehicles, whilst observing and maintaining health and safety standards always
• Ensuring all necessary documentation for goods received and despatched is completed correctly
• Ensure parts and shipping paperwork is prepared correctly and in advance ready for despatch on time including printing address labels and bar codes as required
• Ensure proof of despatch (i.e. shipping notes and despatch notes) are signed at the point of despatch

Experience:

• Must have manufacturing experience
• Must have experience of packing goods
