Role Overview & Responsibilities

Elite Crete is an established manufacturing company in the decorative paving sector. We are looking for someone to fill a permanent full time position.

The main duties will be to manufacture sand/cement-based materials for decorative concrete. Serving customers and fulfilling deliveries in our van.

Qualifications: A full clean UK driving licence required. Forklift truck license required.

Working conditions: The role is warehouse based, requiring the wearing of personal protective equipment, including dust masks and ear defenders.

Physical requirements: The ability to pick and pack large heavy goods, up to 25kgs.

Role Requirements

• To communicate to the appropriate Supervisor of any stock availability, date, rotation or storage issues
• To ensure all stock systems and procedures are carried out correctly to maintain stock accuracy, and product quality.
• To use all equipment correctly and safely.
• To keep the warehouse and the shared amenities clean and tidy.
• To work effectively as part of a small team.
• To assist all customers with the loading of their vehicles as requested by the customer or Supervisor.
• Fork lift operation – loading and unloading of vehicles and stock locations.
• Operating large mixing machinery, in a timely accurate and safe manner.
• Cleaning the mixing machinery to a high standard.

Working hours: This is a full-time role working 40hrs a week Monday-Friday between the hours of 6:00am-5:00pm.

Location: Stockport, Greater Manchester

Pay: £12.50 per hour

Paid Holidays: 20 days per 12 months plus bank holidays.
