Field Engineer

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Blue Direct is a small established business based in Dunstable providing a range of office and domestic installation and servicing services including water coolers, vending machines as well as installing smart home devices such as TV’s, thermostats and door entry systems for our retail partners (such as Amazon, Samsung and Curry’s PC World).

We are looking to grow our team by recruiting a competent “all rounder” who also has the ability and willingness to get involved with all areas of the business.

The successful candidate will be able to work on their own as well as in a team, customer service, presentation and the willingness to go above and beyond is really important to us.

You will need to be able to demonstrate experience in a wide range of general trade skills (such as plumbing, handyman services etc). The ability to complete simple tasks such as TV wall mounting and smart home devices will be important. Additional electrical skills would be a benefit.

Qualifications

• The ability to demonstrate good trouble shooting skills
• Able to work as either part of a team or independently
• Reliable
• A good communicator
• Good customer facing skills
• Driving licence (less than 6 points)
• Able to work permanently in the UK

The successful candidate would be located in the Beds/Herts/Bucks area. The successful candidate would be subject to a background check once working with the company.

Days: Monday to Friday, occasional Saturday maybe required

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £25,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
