Role Overview & Responsibilities

Role: Trainee Electrical Design Engineer

Basic Salary: £30 000 Per Year (This will increase up to £50 000 Per Year as you learn the role)

Location: Dewsbury, West Yorkshire

Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday / Days (1:30 Finish Every Friday)

The Role (All below duties will be done at trainee level to start and full training / mentorship will be provided)

• Liaise with Project Managers and Assembly Shop Engineers to ensure projects are built to specification and achieve timescale deadlines
• Produce Electrical schematics, Block Cable & Loop Diagrams
• Produce Cable Schedules and Cable Calculations
• Produce Control Philosophies for RAE Standard equipment
• Produce EC&I BOMs & Control Panel parts lists
• Review Sub-contractor schematic drawings and specifications
• Check colleagues work for accuracy
• Provide EC&I technical support for colleagues and customers
• Attending supplier sites across the UK to attend control panel factory acceptance tests
