Role Overview & Responsibilities

Engage Talent Partners are working exclusively with our client to source and recruit an Instrument Designer.

Our client are based near Aberdeen and operate in the oil and gas, nuclear and energy sectors and you would be joining them during a very exciting time. The business has enjoyed a successful year to date with some high-profile contract wins and have aspirations to grow over the next few years.

The ideal candidate for this role will be experienced in design work related to instrument and controls. You will be mainly generating 2d AutoCAD drawings for fire panels and systems and it would be great if you had some experience around the following areas: P&IDs, fabrication drawings, piping isometrics, noding isometrics, electrical drawings, technical illustrations, cause & effect diagrams and loop diagrams. Other requirements for the role will include attending internal and external design reviews and technical and drafting support for tender activity.
