Role Overview & Responsibilities

Order Picker / Packer - SPALDING - Immediate Start, Cold Store 2 Degrees.

Extrastaff are looking to recruit multiple Warehouse Pickers to work with our client in Spalding, PE11. Working within a chilled environment, you will be picking packaged foods such as meats, cheeses and platter boxes. Attention to detail is important as 100% accuracy will be required. Full training will be provided and there is opportunity to progress as they also conduct in house Counterbalance and PPT Training.

Hourly Rate of Pay:

• Days Monday - Friday £9.50
• Nights Monday - Friday £10.57
• Weekends Days - £10.57
• Weekends Nights £11.64

Hours of work

We have shifts available Monday - Sunday, Days and Nights.
Rotating or Static shift, flexible start and finish times

Progression Opportunities:

Once established there will be opportunities to join other areas of the business via training to become a PPT or Counterbalance Forklift Driver. They are also looking for Stock Controllers if you excel

As a Order Picker / Packer you will be:

• Opening Boxes of product
• Picking from boxes into plastic crates
• Using a wrist scanner
• Checking for 100% accuracy
• Wrapping pallets of crates

To be successful as a Order Picker / Packer you will require:

• Comfortable working in a chilled environment
• Good level of Maths and English
• Eye for detail
