Production Supervisor

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Duties

You will be working in a cold environment, with raw chicken - previous experience will be preferred.

Assuring that the Production Operatives are:

• Setting the line for start up
• Maintaining a clean and safe working area
• Ensuring that all working procedures and systems of work are followed
• Working efficiently and effectively as part of a team
• Ensure all relevant paperwork related to each job is completed in full
• To carry out any other duties within the remit of the post and other tasks as necessary, when requested, from time to time

As Production Supervisor you will:

• Communicate with upper management.
• Keep track of incomings and outgoings of stock.
• Maintain all Health & Safety procedures and protocols.
• Maintain strict hygiene protocols while handling chicken.
• Be present during audits and provide paperwork where required.
• Produce a report to upper management on a weekly basis.
• Handle employee lifecycle matters and liaise with HR.
• Providing training for new staff.

• Able to work on your own as well as in a team environment
• To ensure good housekeeping is maintained
• To be aware of all aspects of Health & Safety
• Previous experience working within a Production / Manufacturing environment

Schedule:

• MON-FRI, weekend shifts available.
• Normal working hours 6am-3pm.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £12.00-£14.00 per hour
