Van Driver

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Additional van driver required to work on our UK wide distribution contracts of caravan, motorhome and holiday home aftersales parts.

Working away from home for often 3 nights per week - hotel paid and subsistence allowance provided, subsistence allowance is currently £15 per night tax free and under review.

Normal working hours: 7.30am - 3.30pm Mon & Fri / 6.30am - 5.00pm Tue / 7.30am - 5.00pm Wed & Thurs.

Must have full UK licence and preferably have multi drop delivery experience and have experience driving large 3.5 ton Luton type vans

Have a good knowledge of the UK roads system .

Working as part of a small team the successful candidate will be delivering parts to various regions throughout the country.

This particular position is for our South West region, generally leaving on Tuesday and returning Thursday / Friday. The job entails delivering parts to caravan dealers and holiday parks throughout the South West, mainly Devon, Cornwall and Dorset, Starting in the Tewkesbury area on Tuesday mornings and generally finishing around Oxford on Thursdays.

Applicants must have a pleasant outgoing disposition and be able to interact and liaise directly with customers and work on their own initiative and be prepared to work away from home for several nights a week

Candidates need to be fit and active as the job entails a lot of handling of parts.

Salary: £27,300.00 per year

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift

• Kingston upon Hull, HU9 1RJ: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
