Job Title: Mobile Events Crew Person

Overview:

Events Gear Ltd is seeking a talented and experienced Mobile Events Crew Person to join our team in Grantham. The Mobile Events Crew Person will be responsible for assisting with various event equipment setups for our clients across the UK. The ideal candidate will have a passion for events, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with equipment setup and breakdown for events, including sound, lighting, staging, and AV equipment.
• Loading and unloading equipment from vehicles, and ensuring that all equipment is set up correctly and safely.
• Liaising with clients, venue staff, and event planners to ensure that all equipment is delivered and set up on time, and to the highest standards.
• Troubleshooting any equipment issues that arise during an event, and providing support to ensure that the event runs smoothly.
• Maintaining equipment inventory and ensuring that all equipment is in good working order, reporting any issues to management.
• Providing excellent customer service to clients, and ensuring that all equipment is packed up and returned to the warehouse after the event.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in a similar role in the events industry is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of sound, lighting, staging, and AV equipment is preffered but not essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients, venue staff, and event planners.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment and work in a fast-paced environment.
• A full UK driving license is essential, as the role will require driving to events across the UK.

Salary: £85.00-£140.00 per day
