Role Overview & Responsibilities

Supply Chain Analyst


The Procurement Team are responsible for managing the supplier/client relationship which is integral to the growth and success of Waste Managed. Reporting to the Supply Chain Team Leader, the Supply Chain Analyst will work collaboratively with an assigned number of service delivery subcontractors building mutually enriching working relationships to deliver operational excellence to its clients.


Responsibilities

  • Liaising with service delivery subcontractors at operational level

  • Ensuring service order requests are completed in adherence with agreed SLA’s and KPI’s

  • Measuring, managing and improving response times to order fulfilment, supplier and client issues

  • Monitoring and remedying any order request to service delivery variations

  • Information sharing with customers; updates on service delivery and issue resolution

  • Health-check data collection for SLA and KPI reporting

  • Coordinating transfer of works between suppliers

  • Continuously reviewing internal processes and practices and make recommendations for improving the efficiency of the supply chain function

  • Conduct weekly supplier performance meetings

  • Identifying and escalating potential risks to the performance of the supply chain

  • In addition to the duties and responsibilities outlined you may be required to perform other duties assigned and requested by the Line Manager

Person Specification

  • Confident and approachable personality that suppliers and customers will respect and appreciate

  • Excellent communicator both verbal and in writing

  • Tactful negotiation and problem-solving skills to ensure suppliers meet required standards
  • Analytical and organisational skills

  • Logistical and planning skills

  • An understanding of data and how to use this to make informed choices / support arguments

  • Ability to work across departments

Experience and Qualifications


  • Experience of working within a Procurement Department and/or supplier or customer focussed environment

  • Ability to manipulate data and prepare reports using the company CRM and Microsoft Excel
