IT Infrastructure and Network Engineer
Are you an experienced IT Infrastructure and Network Engineer, we currently have a position available working from our Warrington HQ To assist with business as usual, 2nd & 3rd line IT support with the occasional IT Project support
What we are looking for:
- Designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks
- Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including routers, switches, WiFi, DNS and DHCP
- Custodian of the network estate within Certas which consists of 113 sites across the UK and Ireland
- Working alongside Azure infrastructure engineers to maintain Azure networking technologies
- Maximising network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting using Solarwinds
- Provide support for all Telephony and VoIP systems when required
- Relevant Degree or HND in Computer Science/IT Support (or other relevant skills/experience) with experience in an IT support environment.
- Knowledge of Cisco device configuration (meraki switches, routers and WiFi, CCNA Desirable)
- Knowledge of Solarwinds
- Strong network diagnostics skills
- Knowledge of Azure based application delivery controllers
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP-based network and routing protocols (e.g. OSPF, BGP etc.)
- Keen interest to develop themselves in Azure based IaaS, PaaS, SaaS services
