Welder and Fabricator

Role Overview & Responsibilities

EY3 is a small agile engineering company, specialising in the design and manufacture of winning Motorsport competition vehicles. The fabrication shop supports our Motorsport programs, as well as manufacturing parts for a wide variety of other industries. We require an experienced Welder and Fabricator to increase our capacity.

The successful candidate will have:

• Be familiar reading and working from engineering drawings to fabricate a variety of components.
• Carry out fitting and welding to a high standard, using MIG and TIG welding on Mild Steel, Aluminum and Stainless.
• Can safely operate a brake press.
• Work to tight tolerances and motivated to achieving a high level of quality whist ensuring delivery schedules are met.
• Previous work in the motor sport, food industry, automotive or aerospace sectors is a benefit, as the company customer base is diverse.
• Be prepared to work extra hours (paid) to meet delivery deadlines if required.
• Ideally have some previous bodyshell and at least 5 years general fabrication experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £16.00-£19.00 per hour

Experience:

• Fabricating: 5 years (preferred)
