Software Development Intern

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are a fintech startup offering premium debit cards with cashback rewards targeted at younger people. We are looking for a skilled Development Intern with a focus on AI/ML to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in web development, with a strong understanding of JavaScript, Python, and MEAN stack.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with our development team to design and implement new AI/ML features and functionality using ChatGPT and other language models
• Develop and maintain clean, efficient, and well-documented code using MEAN stack
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices
• Work closely with our team to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Contribute to the research and feature development of new AI/ML capabilities with financial services
• Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in AI/ML and web development

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of web development principles and technologies, with a focus on MEAN stack
• Solid understanding of JavaScript and its frameworks
• Experience with AI/ML libraries and frameworks
• Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Passion for learning and staying up-to-date with the latest AI/ML and web development trends

Education and Experience:

• Pursuing or completed a degree in Computer Science in the UK
• Previous experience or coursework in AI/ML is preferred but not required
