Role Overview & Responsibilities

Export Nights Operator 4on-4off

Job Purpose:
To complete exports from start to finish working in the operations team
In depth knowledge of airfreight industry and customer requirements
Excellent customer service skills

Key responsibilities:
Arrange shipments as per customer instructions following customer SOP/Quotation
Open job files as per customers and arrange collections
Book all shipments will the airline
Handle tie ups by ensuring secure cargo and handover to transport.
Complete the MAWBs - IATA, B2B & CONSOLIDATIONS
Pre alert the customer and network
Complete customs entries in accordance to compliance of HMRC
Liase with airlines and handling agents
Manage a shared mailbox
Resolve queries in a timely manner to ensure shipment uplift
To be able to follow customer SOPs
Arranging of Air Import shipments
Air Import customs knowledge advantageous
Operational Finance (Costing and Invoicing)
Flexible and Adaptive approach
Customer Focused at all times

Minimum Requirements:
Industry experience required
Excellent ICT skills to include Microsoft packages
Good communication skills both verbal & written
Attention to detail
Friendly, calm and professional manner
Good time-management
Ability to adapt to change and work effectively as part of a team
Enthusiasm and good self motivation

GBP32,000 + SHIFT ALLOWANCE
4 ON 4 OFF NIGHTS (1900-0700)
Min 2 years AOG experienced preferred
Multi modal - exp and imp if possible.
