Role Overview & Responsibilities
Maths and English Tuition Centre Manager required at our Smethwick Centre.
Tuesday 4:00- 8:00pm
Wednesday 4:00 - 6:00pm
Saturday 10:00-12:00pm
To support and guide our teaching assistants with their students and encourage them to work to the best of their ability. Job would be suited to a retired teacher or for those who have experience in the education field. It is not necessary, but would be helpful.
Accurately mark, provide constructive feedback and record progress of student's work in accordance with guidelines. The manager will also need to liase and feedback to parents on how their children are progressing.
Build and maintain positive working relationships with children, parents and staff.
Manage parent enquiries informatively and assess new children that attend the Centre.
To attend supervision, training and meetings as and when required. There may be a necessity for these to be outside of normal working hours.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, preferably with experience of supporting students, have good GCSE's in the core subjects, be punctual and reliable and have the ability to show initiative and work without direct supervision.

Salary: £15.00 - £25.00 /hour
Education experience is preferred but not essential.
