Role Overview & Responsibilities

Cyber Security Lead – IT – Derbyshire County Council

I am currently representing Derbyshire County Council who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate of £500 - £800 per day which is negotiable dependent upon experience

We are looking for a Cyber Security Lead you will be based: DE4 3AG

1) Monitor all operations and infrastructure security components

2) Monitor internal and external security compliance

3) Lead and ensure regulation compliance (PSN, DSP Toolkit etc)

4) Map out the DCC security incident response program

5) Lead team of cybersecurity professionals

6) support the wider organisation in cyber security matters

7) Provide subject-matter-expertise in the discipline of Core Platform security to Cybersecurity operational teams, operations team, enterprise architecture and line of business

Requirements:

· Experience of working as a Cyber Security Lead

· Experience of working within a local authority or NHS
