Homelessness Prevention Adviser

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Fox Morris Group are currently working to recruit a Homelessness Prevention Adviser. This is a full-time role, on a 6 month+ contract.

Rate: £20+ per hour (negotiable dependant on experience)

Hours: 36 per week

The right candidate will have…

• Knowledge of the Homeless Reduction Act 2017,
• Knowledge of the current housing climate,
• The ability to interpret and apply a Council Allocation Scheme.

Role responsibilities…

• To provide a front-line customer support, ensuring new applicants are aware of the support and assistance that can be provided,
• Conducting brief initial evaluations of an applicant’s housing needs,
• Providing relevant housing options and advice (referring to services that may be able to assist further where required).

Salary: £18.00-£20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

• London: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
