Role Overview & Responsibilities

WL Vallance Ltd is part of Freightroute Limited - a family business and one of the leading privately owned palletised transport organisations in the UK. Established in 1979 we operate across 11 sites in England and Scotland with over 480 employees and 220 vehicles. We offer a wide range of delivery solutions to our customers while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professional conduct.

We currently have driver vacancies in the current categories at our Newton Abbot site:

Class 1 Days (07.00 - 17.00) £12.72ph & £16.23ph overtime. Non-ADR rates £11.91 & £15.19

Class 2 Days (07.00 – 17.00) £12.34ph & £15.56ph overtime. Non-ADR rates £11.55 & £14.57

ADR qualification desired but not essential as fully funded training and opportunity to increase earning potential at full ADR rate.

• Multi drop deliveries and collections in set geographical areas (Days)
• Performing trunking operations between our sites / partner sites (Nights)
• Building and maintaining relationships with customers as the face of the business
• Maintaining the highest professional driving standards and legal standards
• 45 Hours per week plus Overtime available
• Monday to Friday

Role Requirements:

• Valid CPC Certification
• ADR Qualification preferred but not essential, full training provided.
