WAREHOUSE LOGISTICS SUPERVISOR – LUXURY BRAND OPERATION

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Freightserve recruitment are looking for a Logistics Supervisor. The company is a major Freight Forwarder based in the Heathrow area.

Job Purpose:

· Supervise and Lead the Luxury Brand Operation team in Heathrow.

· Maintain contact with client and ensure that all Activities, Service, Administration and communication are run smoothly and maintained accurately

· Control and maintain the accuracy of warehouse inventory

· Maintain a clean, safe and secure working environment

· To provide operational support for all WMS functions

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

· Ensure all required documents have been prepared and actioned, such as pick lists, stock checks and delivery/receipt notes

· Customer service, dealing with queries and issues, communicating with the customer in a professional manner

• Work cohesively with warehouse administration/warehouse team to ensure consistent on-time receipt & despatch of products to the stores
• Distribute and prioritise workload for the Luxury Brand Operation team

· WMS administration and control, including order waving process

· Preparation and distribution of dispatch reports

· Provide information to Luxury Brand about the status of their orders

· Should be Flexible to Work in Shifts

· Ensure that Warehouse KPIs are kept on target

· Manage a team of staff, resource levels including absence, annual leave and overtime

· Conduct reviews of all direct report team members

· Manage escalation of investigation to their final outcome

· Maintain quality oversight of all undertaking within area of responsibility, give full assistance to internal/external audits & compliance checks as directed

· Help ensure Health & Safety standards are maintained at all times and fire exits and firefighting equipment accessible at all times. Report on breaches of safety & security

· Regularly demonstrate to others, safe working practices and deliver training to other members of the team

· Ensure that all paperwork and documentation is copied, distributed, filed to allow full traceability by QHSE

· Continue to look for process improvements, including measurements of productivity

· Any other delegated tasks deemed as reasonable as assigned by the reporting Manager

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:-

· Excellent organizational and time-management skills

· Experience with the Luxury Retail industry

· Ability to follow processes

· Experience of leading people including managing all aspects of HR policy including performance reviews, all employee relations issues and absence management

· A motivational, inspiring leader with outstanding communication skills and full understanding of operational requirements within the warehouse environment

· Knowledge of standard computer applications including MS Office and WMS systems

· Meticulous attention to detail is required as accuracy is key to ensuring no errors occur

· Ability to use own initiative to solve day to day challenges

· Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workload

· Friendly and professional manner

Working hours are Week 1 - 5am - 4.30pm and Week 2 - 9am - 5.30pm

Salary: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
