French Connection Brand Consultant - John Lewis Edinburgh

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are looking for a Brand Consultant to represent the French Connection brand within John Lewis Edinburgh ladies' fashion floor.

The position is a part time independent role, working within a department store setting, but reporting directly to French Connection Head Office. Primarily a sales role, you will be required to approach customers, offer styling advice and product knowledge, all whilst considering your weekly target to maximise sales.

The role involves writing weekly trade reports, producing replenishment orders and visual merchandising as well as other ad hoc duties.

The ideal candidate will have a fashion retail background, be confident when speaking with customers, have the ability to use their initiative and have excellent communication skills in order to build a great rapport with John Lewis staff and their French Connection Area Manager.

This role is up to 24 hours and requires Saturdays, please do not apply if you require more hours than this.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 24 per week

Salary: £9.00-£11.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

• Commission pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Edinburgh, EH1 3SP: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

• Retail sales: 2 years (required)
