About us

We are an independent family owned online pharmacy based in Frodsham near Warrington. We are a small friendly team and our goal is to provide the very best care to our community patients and care home residents. We offer NHS and private prescription services as well as on site services such as vaccinations.

We have opportunties for both experienced Pharmacy Dispensers (full and part time) and also offer apprenticships for people looking to start a career in Pharmacy

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ordering prescriptions and preparing medicines for patients
• Checking the Dispensary email on a regular basis and promptly dealing with queries from patients
• Ordering prescriptions and preparing medicines for patients
• Preparing blister packs for community and care home patients
• Collection of prescription charges/checking patient exemption statements
• Processing prescription requests
• Checking for acute prescription requests from GP’s on the day
• Operation of efficient stock control appropriate to the needs of the dispensary with the objective of ensuring continuity of supply for patients and minimising wastage
• Ensuring that medicines are received and stored in an appropriate manner
• Ensuring that refrigerated items are stored at the appropriate temperature and maintaining the temperature control record/logbook
• Cleaning work surfaces and shelving on a regular basis and ensuring that that all dispensary equipment is kept clean and kept in good working order
• Maintaining full and accurate records of all dispensing transactions
• Undertaking other reasonable duties within the framework of the post as directed by the Pharmacist

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

Salary: Up to £11.00 per hour
