Foundry Operative – Skilled Moulders (Afternoon Shift)

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Position: Highly skilled/Skilled Foundry Operative – Moulders (Chemically bonded sand). Days and Nights positions available.

Salary: £12.50 to £19.35 Per Hour (Dependant on experience and shift pattern)

Hours: 10:00am – 20:00pm, Monday – Thursday (40 hours per week)

Highly Skilled/Skilled Moulders

The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and preparing moulds for casting, driving production, and maintaining a high level of quality. Training members of the team to improve their skills. Working closely with the foundry Foreman and Manager. The candidate should also have the following attributes:

• Highly skilled at working in a foundry moulding department
• Strong work ethic
• Working knowledge of health & safety and good housekeeping
• A good understanding of English both written and spoken
• Operating overhead cranes

Licence/Certification

FLT Licence (preferred but not essential)
