Role Overview & Responsibilities

We have an exciting new opportunity to join our supply chain department who are integral to our business in getting our produce onto the shelves as a Supply Chain Operations Manager.

We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Operations Manager to join us in managing the commercial accounts and operations within the logistics and asset control functions of the group.

Reporting to our Operations Director and managing the wider team you will be responsible for the management of one our key commercial and operational function within logistics and supply chain.

Key Roles & Responsibilities for a Supply Chain Operations Manager:

  • Managing the commercial accounts and operations within the logistics and asset control functions
  • Managing the day-to-day operations in the logistics and asset control areas
  • Managing the P&L, maintain existing and identifying and generating new revenue streams
  • Management of customer, haulier, and 3rd party supplier relationships
  • Building the effective ways of working between logistics, assets and customs teams for an efficient delivery of service to customer
  • Manage team performance reviews, including PDP and EPR’s and support/training requirements where applicable
  • Support with strategic initiatives
  • Drive department performance through regular department catch ups and reviews

Supply Chain Operations Manager Requirements:

  • Experience within commercial supply chain, logistics and asset control
  • Experience working within an FMCG background beneficial.
  • Proven ability to deliver within a commercial environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills both internal and external
  • Proven and effective team management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging and changing environment
  • Ability to drive performance and be adaptable when faced with challenges.
