JOB TITLE: Kitchen Porter

JOB REFERENCE: KPFB 01/22

REPORTING TO: Head Chef

HOURS: Full-time, shift patterns available ranging from early mornings, daytimes, and evening. Shifts primarily 4-5 days out of 7.

JOB LOCATION: Fratelli Belfast, 60 Greate Victoria Street, Belfast.

SALARY: £11.92- £12.92 per hour

About the role:

We are seeking to recruit a hardworking and dedicated kitchen porter to join our kitchen team at Fratelli Belfast. Your main responsibility will be to ensure all kitchen cleanliness and assist with general food preparation.

Job Description:

The main duties of this role include but are not limited to:

• Washing dishes, pots, and the provision of the required equipment in the kitchen.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen and dishwashing areas including walls, fridges, floors, racks, and anything else required by the chefs.
• Assisting chefs with basic food preparation.
• Following all Company and Statutory Fire, Health, Safety, and Hygiene Regulations.
• Responsible for the security and safe handling of all equipment used.
• Carrying out any other duties set by Senior Chefs in the kitchen.

• Must be able to use their own initiative and be able to work well under pressure.
• Be an excellent team player.
• Have a flexible approach to working shift patterns and be available to work days, evenings, and weekends.
• Have the ability to communicate well with other team members.

Desirable:

• Have previous experience working in a kitchen.
