Barista/Kitchen/Front of House

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team in store at Get Baked in Headingley, Leeds. This customer-facing role requires you to be passionate about our brand and be keen to provide an excellent service to the public, alongside integrating well into our amazing team with an ability to work in our on-site kitchen, finishing and serving our baked goods. The role of a Barista/Kitchen/Front of House Staff Member is a unique role that includes a variety of daily tasks, keeping the job exciting and very different from other hospitality roles that you may have experienced.

This is a full-time position (40 hours a week). Shifts are varied and spread over 5 days from Monday to Sunday. You must be available to work between 9am and midnight. A few example shifts from our current rota include: 9am-5pm, 10am-6pm, 3pm-10pm, 5pm-midnight.

The Role:

• Being welcoming and friendly to customers, offering a unique approach to customer service

• Have full knowledge of our menu offering and a genuine interest and passion for the items we make and serve

• Crafting and serving a selection of hot drinks including coffees - prior experience within a Barista role is ideal

• Working in our kitchen to prepare pie bases and fillings as well as finishing products such as glazing cookies and building cakes – prior experience within a kitchen, patisserie section or bakery is therefore ideal

• An ability to integrate well within our close-knit and very friendly team and to work well within this team, as well as being able to work well independently

• Our store can get very busy at times therefore an ability to work well under pressure and time-constraints is essential

Pay and Benefits:

• All staff are paid above the national minimum wage.
