Security Dog Handler

Role Overview & Responsibilities

GK K9 Solutions LTD are looking for dog handlers for self employed and PAYE positions.

This position requires the individual to work on there own or with a team of other handlers to ensure the smooth operation of their clients facility. The right candidate must have excellent communication skills, strong leadership abilities and an attention to detail. Qualified individuals will be capable of working independently in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, and also as part of a team when necessary. This individual must have an eye for detail and enjoy working with animals, and we're looking for people who have experience in dog handling.

Responsibilities:
Act as a visual deterrent and aid in the prevention of criminal activity when appropriate.
Carry out and undertake regular site patrols as per the clients requests.
Completion of relevant paperwork depending on site requirements.
Follow instructions as per clients requests.

Must have the following:
SIA license
Own dog
NASDU or equivalent qualification. (We can help obtain this)
CT training records
Up to date vet records
BS compliant vehicle and suitable cage
Unbranded uniform and vehicle (uniform will be supplied for PAYE)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Freelance, Zero hours contract

Salary: £12.00-£14.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 12 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• Weekend availability

Licence/Certification:

• SIA (required)
