Night Care Assistant required part time. To assist residents with their personal care needs and complete care documentation. Must have previous experience in a similar role.

Glenfield Woodlands strives to deliver the highest standards of care within our home. We are seeking a dedicated Care Assistant (preferably with previous care experience) to join our team.

About the home:

Glenfield Woodlands is a 17 bedded Care Home in Glenfield, Leicester. Glenfield Woodlands specializes in elderly and dementia care. The most recent CQC report is rated overall 'GOOD', and we are currently in the process of aiming to achieve an 'OUTSTANDING' rating.

Job Role - Night Care Assistant

Hours - 12 per week

Shifts - 8pm-8am

Rate of Pay: £9.90ph

Care Assistant Duties include and are not limited to;

To Supervise and participate in the delivery of care to all residents.

To follow a person centered approach for every resident.

To work well as a team with other care staff.

To be open to ongoing training, and to follow your own personalized professional development plan.

To work and promote good practices to all staff.

To work in conjunction with CQC's Key Lines of Enquiry framework. Promoting a Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive and Well Led service.

Full commitment to the home, being punctual, flexible, honest and caring are paramount for the eligibility of this job vacancy.

Requirements:

Previous experience within a nursing/residential home as a Care Assistant is desirable

NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (Desirable)

Active, on line DBS (Desirable). Enhanced DBS is required, costs to be met initially by applicant and will be reimbursed upon completion of 6 month probation period.
