Role Overview & Responsibilities

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly motivated person to join our committed and friendly team.

Glenside Country Practice is a rural dispensing practice in South Lincolnshire with 2 surgery sites, one at Castle Bytham and one at Corby Glen.

The position will include greeting and sign posting patients, answering telephone calls, booking appointments, dealing with patient queries, ordering patient's repeat medications and daily administrative tasks. The workload will be varied and will require you to demonstrate excellent communication skills and be able to work under pressure, especially during busy periods. You will need to demonstrate empathy with our service users and have a willingness to go the extra mile to ensure patient satisfaction. Experience of working in a front facing customer focused role would be advantageous. The ability to multi-task, prioritise workload and be able to solve problems would also be an advantage.

A working knowledge of AskMyGP & SystmOne would be an advantage.

The role is 24 hours in total spread across Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday some days with a start time of 8.30am.

Extra hours may be requested to help cover staff holidays.
